You probably aren’t going to become very invested in a new “significant” other when you know they won’t be around long. At least you’ll be wary of spending your time and emotional resources getting to know them.
The same is true for your business. Which is why you need a “main squeeze” cause.
We all have more than one cause pulling at our hearts and it’s tempting to want to support them all (or many of them) with your business. But long-term commitment leads to greater outcomes. And isn’t that the point of supporting a cause with your business?
This week I’m talking about why it’s so important to have focus and long-term commitment to the causes you support.
Dates can come and go, your causes shouldn’t. Find one (seriously, no more than two!) that make sense for you, your brand, and your business. Then take the plunge and have an incredible impact.
